Andrea Hope Elson (born in 1961) was a famous American actor. Elson began her career in television as a child model as well as actress. Her most well-known character is Alice Tyler, portrayed by Elson in CBS the science-fiction series. Andrea was chosen to play Lynn Tanner in the popular ALF series ALF beginning in 1986. She worked on many successful TV shows, and also Movies of the Weekly for several more seasons before she resigned from the world of entertainment to spend time with her family. Andrea Elson's character, Lynn Tanner, Willie and Kate Tanner's teenage daughter was difficult for her. People magazine published a retrospective of Elson's career in the year 2000. Elson said growing up in the spotlight was not simple. Green-eyed Elson was born New York City on March 6th, 1969. She grew to be a traveling actress due to her father's job as an advertising executive. In the ten years before her birthday on the 10th of March Andrea lived in New York Chicago San Diego Los Angeles. Andrea was able to get her agent living in San Diego, where she was the first to win a part in which she attempted to audition for. Fusco explained the decision by saying "ALF is 285 years old, which means he's an adult who is able to drink alcohol." As ALF started to become becoming more famous, NBC said that Fusco would not be able to continue having ALF drinking beer before the children. This was not a good character for a role model. Fusco maintained that he believed ALF was an adult and could manage the alcohol. In 1995, he was diagnosed with lymphoma, which was successfully treated and was remissioned until the year 2019. At the Lillian Booth Actors Home of Englewood in New Jersey on the 26th of June, 2019, he passed away due to this condition at age 75.
