Kelly Clarkson (American singer/songwriter) is an extremely popular American following her win on American Idol's first season. It was not just the winning that ushered Kelly Clarkson's name to the forefront as it also secured her an arrangement with RCA Records 19 Recordings & "S Records" for a series of albums. Since then, she's recorded numerous studio albums. Three of that reached the top of the US Billboard 200' chart, while her other albums barely did not make it to the top. She's one of the biggest artists that originate from The American Idol series. She experimented as she gained success with diverse musical and theme styles, often writing songs of her own. Because of her distinctiveness and talent as a performer and songwriter, she received praise from critics and won a few important prizes. Notably, she's received the Grammy Award a record three times. In addition, she has appeared on film and television.
