Charlotte Church (born February 21, 1986) is an opera star hailing from Llandaff Wales in the United Kingdom. Welsh music producer and singer is known for both her recordings of pop and classical music. She's sold more than 10 million albums across the world. Crazy Chick became her first #1 single. Church would've liked to play Hermione Grenger for Harry Potter movies, but Church wasn't given Emma Watson's part. Church had wanted to play Hermione Granter in Harry Potter films. The role was instead assigned to Emma Watson. Church was born Charlotte Maria Reed in Llandaff which is a district in Cardiff Wales the daughter of Maria (nee Cooper) and Stephen Reed a computer engineer. Charlotte's mother took care of her when Stephen quit the family after Charlotte was just two. The family was Roman Catholic. In 1992, Maria was married to the second time to James Church who adopted Charlotte in 1999. She has four siblings two half-brothers younger than her biological father Luke and Alexander as well as two step-brothers older of her father's prior wedding Elisha and Andrew. Her musical break came in the year she was 11 years old when she performed Andrew Lloyd Webber's Pie Jesu over the telephone during the telecast of This Morning in 1997 followed by a performance on the ITV's Big Big Talent Show in 1997. Church has appeared in several TV cameos. She was in Touched by an Angel and appeared on The Heartbeat Christmas special which aired in 1999. Church also appeared in episodes of Have I Got News For You in 2002, 2003, and the year 2012 (the the second time that she appeared as host and was the first to be the youngest panellist on show history). In 2005, she appeared in a segment in The Catherine Tate Show, in a skit with her fictional character Joannie Taylor. In 2008, Katy Brand's Big Ass Show featured her briefly in an episode. There are two daughters: Ruby Megan and Dexter Lloyd. Gavin Henson is an former rugby player who was her former boyfriend. Jonny & Cheryl Powell got married on October 17, 2017. Catherine Rose Young was born to Paul Young in 2002. They divorced in 2010. Cheryl Kennedy Jr., Robert F. Kennedy Jr. engaged her in 2014; they got married on August 2, 2014.
